The Seven Cosmic Circles

 

The degree

Of personality realization

On a material planet

Is measured

By each individual's

Conquest

Of seven successive

Cosmic circles

Of human potential.

 

Entrance on to

The seventh cosmic circle

Marks the beginning

Of the function

Of true human personality.

 

Spiraling upward and inward

Through the seven

Cosmic planes

Denotes the relative maturity

Of any mortal being

At a given time.

 

Though the traversal

Of the seven circles

Of cosmic growth

Does not equate to fusion

With the Thought Adjuster,

The mastery of these circles

Marks the attainment

Of the steps required

Personality Growth

 

The cosmic circles

Are not purely intellectual.

Neither are they wholly morontial

(The ethereal state between matter and spirit).

The circles reflect personality status -

Mind attainment,

Soul growth,

And Adjuster attunement.

 

The separate parts

 grow in proportion

To the expansion

Of the whole self

Characterizing the Circles

 

It is impossible

To precisely define the content

Of the seven cosmic circles

Of human growth.

 

The cosmic circles

Of mortal progression

Are cosmic planes or levels

Of a mortal's grasp of meaning

And the realization of value

In moving towards

Consciousness

Of the relationship

Of the evolving soul

With the emerging

Supreme Being.

 

Circle achievements

Are only distantly related

To God-consciousness.

A seventh  (lowest) circler

Can be as truly God-knowing

(Sonship conscious)

As a first circler.

 

Lower circle beings

Are far less conscious

Of their experiential relation

To the Supreme Being

(Universe citizenship).

 

Achievement

Of the cosmic circles

Continues

On the mansion worlds

If these goals

Are not met

Before death on Earth.

Facilitating Response to Stimuli

 

Maximum

Light and truth

Can be imparted

With minimal

Temporal danger

To a mind of poise,

Housed in a body

Of clean habits,

Stabilized neural energies,

And balanced chemical function

(Where the physical,

Mental and spiritual powers

Are in triune harmony

Of development).

 

When the development

Of the intellectual nature

Proceeds faster

Than the spiritual,

Communication with the

Thought Adjuster

Becomes both difficult

And dangerous.

 

Excess spiritual development

Produces fanatical

And perverted interpretations

Of the spirit leadings

Of the Thought Adjuster.

 

Lack of spiritual capacity

Makes it difficult

To transmit the spiritual truths

Resident in the super consciousness

To the material intellect.

 

With balanced growth,

Man ascends smoothly

Through the circles

Of planetary progression

From the seventh to the first.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

 

Every decision a mortal makes

Impedes or facilitates

The functioning

Of the Adjuster. 

 

Likewise, every decision

Determines mortal advancement

Or regression

In the cosmic circles

Of human achievement.

Circle Growth

 

Mortal progression

Through the seven cosmic circles

Brings about

A growing sense of cosmic consciousness

And a greater affinity

Of the evolutionary soul

With the emerging Supreme Being.

 

As the mortal progresses

To the soul-level

Of consciousness,

He becomes better able to grasp

Universe meanings

And to realize divine values.

 

These accomplishments

Provide the mortal

With a greater awareness

Of his universe citizenship

And the expectation

Ministers of Mortal Progress

 

The ministry

Of the seven adjutant mind-spirits,

Unified under the directing influence

Of the spirit of wisdom,

Assists the mortal creature

In the completion

Of the seven circles

Of pre-morontia attainment.

 

From the viewpoint of the angelic ministry,

Most men and women

Are grouped in seven classes

In accordance with their

Circle status

Fewer angels minister

To more mortals

In the lower circles.

Attaining the Third Circle

 

Upon achieving the third circle,

The mortal mind

Finally breaks through

The inertia

Of the animal heritage.

 

At the third circle,

The indwelling Adjuster

Begins to more effectively

Bridge the gulf

Between the material and spiritual

Planes of the universe

In the mind of man.

 

Achievement of the third circle

Also marks the assignment

Of a pair of personal guardians

Of destiny

Who henceforth

Are wholly and exclusively devoted

To the third circle mortal.

 

Third circle mortals

Have earned the right

To receive the undivided assistance

Of personal guardian angels

To complete the first circle.

 

Further,

Third circle mortals

Will be repersonalized

On the mansion worlds

On the third day following death

With no delays.

The Power of Decisions

 

The supremacy of a decision

(Decisions made in a crisis)

Has a great deal to do

The circle-achieving power

Of a mind.

 

Nonetheless,

The numbers of decisions,

With frequent and persistent repetitions,

Are also essential

To the habit-forming certainty

Of quality reactions.

Fusion - The Attainment of Immortality

 

Achievement of all seven cosmic circles

Does not equal fusion

With pure spirit,

The Thought Adjuster.

 

There are many mortals living on Earth

Who have attained all seven circles,

But fusion depends on still greater

And more sublime

Spiritual achievements.

 

Fusion occurs

Only upon the attainment of a final

And complete attunement

Of the mortal will

With the will of God

As it resides

In the Thought Adjuster.

The Adjuster’s Voice

 

While the voice

Of the Adjuster

Is always within,

Few mortals "hear"

The soundless clap

Of that bell during a lifetime.

 

Human beings

Below the third circle

Of attainment

Hear the Adjuster's voice

Only in moments

Of supreme desire,

In supreme situations,

Confirming a supreme decision.

Dangerous Assumption

 

In varying degrees,

But increasingly,

Mortals do communicate

With their Adjusters

As they ascend the cosmic circles

 (Sometimes directly,

But more often indirectly).

 

It is dangerous, however,

To think

That every new concept

Originating in the human mind

Is the dictation

Of the Adjuster.

 

More often,

What mortal’s may think

Is the Adjuster's voice

Is an emanation

Of their own intellect.

 

Every human being

Must settle these problems

For himself

In accordance

With his natural human wisdom

And superhuman insight.
