Sensory science is the exploration of the mind, the body and
their connecting link, Spirit.
The spirit linkage of body and mind is the most subtle but powerful force in the universe.
It is also the most mysterious and least understood. Everything called life is dependent on spirit. Without the spiritual
connection, order falls into chaos. Spirit is in each individual. It is in all collectively. Spirit is man's most precious
possession.
From his beginning, mankind has searched for the ultimate expression of the spiritual connection
between body and mind, but few humans have experienced it. In dance, in mysticism and the worship of nature, each had its
time and place in the search for the spiritual connection.
Eventually, meditation taught the focus of attention should be internal rather than external.
As people gained more time to devote to the inner life, as civilization progressed, other means were developed to speed up
the process.
Currently, researchers from around the world are joining forces to provide modern answers to
the age old riddles of consciousness. Hard sciences like biology, chemistry, neurology and physics are being blended with
soft sciences like psychology, psychiatry, and philosophy into a new field of science called “Neuroscience,” the
study of the mind/body/spirit connection.
Although the true nature of these relationships is not yet fully clear, it is obvious that
the body’s connection to consciousness and spirit is achieved primarily through internal and external senses. The truths
about consciousness must lie in a fuller understanding of the sensory mechanisms that make such a connection and communication
possible.
It is the goal of this site to gain a greater understanding of the sensory mechanisms and man's
inner life.
